THE STAFF OF AUTHORITY

The staff Moses lifted up is a way of acknowledging a total surrender to Almighty from who our help cometh from...The staff is a symbol of spiritual authority....it's a way of prayer,supplication and acknowledgment of God's superiority ...Moses lifted up his staff and hands of prayer to God and the Israelites were marching victorious. ...These Same staff of prayer swallowed Pharaoh's staff turned snakes(Exodus 7:8-13).The staff of Moses divided the Red Sea into two for the Israelites to cross over (Exodus14:1-25).When Moses struck his staff on the rock water came out for the israelites to drink and quench there thirst (Exodus 17;1-7)

And in the first reading of today,while Moses lifted up his staff ,the Israelites prevailed over there enemies- the Amalekites... (Exodus 17:8-13)

My dear Christian. ..the time has come for you to lift up your staff of Prayer....Your symbol of authority ...lift it up ,call upon the Lord. Never lose hope.Your Redeemer never sleeps nor slumber.He is your keeper.He will not allow you to be moved .He will keep you from evil .He will not allow the sun of envy,hatred,jealousy ,persecution,injustice and sin to strike you by  day.He will not allow the moon of evil powers and machinations to strike you by night.....Persist in prayer....Have faith.....though it may seem that nothing is happening now ,but I tell you God is doing something....soon it will manifest....never despair......never get discouraged.....friends may discourage you,people around you may sound so pessimistic. ..Doctors may discourage you....But know that the way of God is not the way of man.....Only believe God's report and His report says....I will help you fer not (isaiah 41:13)...Wait upon the Lord and your strength shall be renewed...Once more courage !!.....The Eygptians you see today you shall see no more...fear not,stand firm,and see the salvation of the Lord(exodus 14:13-14)
